Let's talk about how you will meet your students and families when you are not in the classroom! Virtual Meet the Teacher nights are probably going to take off this year. We want a way to make connections with our students and families to start the year off right. Connections and community are so important when building lasting relationships and managing your classroom all year long.
Check out some virtual resources I have created to get you started. A set of linked Google Slides is perfect to share via email with families or in a Google Classroom with your students. Click HERE or on the image below to access a fully editable Virtual Meet the Teacher Presentation.
The slides are fully editable so you can change the directions or titles to fit your specific needs. I have left my personal information on each slide as a way for you to gain ideas as to how you might set up your own Virtual Meet the Teacher Presentation. Remember to change the text in each box to fit your classroom, students, and appropriate school information.
Another helpful resource for virtual learning is a weekly agenda for your students. This keeps them on track when completing activities and lets them know what is ahead. An agenda can even help you to plan effectively for the week! Grab a free copy of my Digital Weekly Agenda Slides HERE or by clicking on the image below.
These slides are fully editable. When in presentation mode, a student can click on any day of the week and it will take them directly to that slide. The "Home" arrow links back to the main slide.
Also, remember that if you subscribe to my blog this summer only, you receive a free copy of my Digital and Print Grammar Activities. If you have any questions, fill out the Contact Form on my blog home page and I would love to chat with you!
